Kimberly-Clark’s Needleless Injector
The Challenge:
Develop the mechanical design and user experience for a Kimberly-Cla’s needleless medication injection technology.
The Work:
I led mechanical design through multiple rounds of prototyping and user testing before finalizing a ready-for-DMF mechanical architecture. I collaborated with an industrial designer and a soft goods engineer to create the complete look and feel of the device.
Results:
Kimberly-Clark obtained multiple patents for the design and was very pleased with the overall product design. Unfortunately, the product never reached the market due to unresolved issues with the needleless technology.
