WET Design
The Challenge:
I was hired as a Mechanical Engineer, but with my mechatronics background, I was tasked with helping to program the Dubai Fountain. I spent three months in Dubai with the choreography team as a creative technologist assistant.
The Work:
I collaborated closely with the design team to make the fountain achieve their choreography goals. I spent substantial time on the lighting effect on the water to achieve maximum glow without blinding onlookers and adding hits of color.
Results:
I invented and programmed several new ‘moves’ for the fountain and created the complete lighting choreography for several musical displays.
